Happy Thanksgiving!

It's now Tuesday. I think I have finally recovered from the holiday. I thought holidays were supposed to be relaxing. Well, this one was kinda relaxing, but it surely was short on the sleep end of it. I got up early everyday......Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And I'm still tired....getting some rest in...but still tired. I got some good deals at the stores....how ever many I went to. I think I lost count. :)
Aside from shopping and not sleeping, we had a really great weekend. Thursday we watched the parade and fell asleep. We headed to Dave's grandma's house for lunch. We got to visit with some family we haven't seen in a while. After lunch and visiting, we headed to my Aunt Brenda's house. We snacked around, but had a good time visiting and getting in some laughs.
I'm happy we went to my aunt's though. The day before I had loaded up my digital photos on the computer to clear them off my memory card. So guess what I did???? I deleted them before I saved them!!! Thanks to my Uncle Jeff....he helped me recover some of the photos...but not all of them. So we will soon be dressing up for halloween again. :) Just so I can have some pictures of my kids in their costumes.
Friday I went shopping by myself and say quite a few of you out shopping early, too. My mom called me around 9 and we went to breakfast. Then with my mom and my sister we headed to Wal-mart and the mall. I was so tired!!!! I finally made it home around 3...just in time to get a nap in...which didn't really happen, because I have THREE KIDS!!! Oh well....who needs sleep.
Once I mustered up some energy.....we loaded up our kids and the whole family headed to the zoo to check out the lights! They were so pretty. I have never been there before...neither had Dave or our kids. We waited far to long to see Santa..but the kids did really good with him.

Saturday welll....it was Weight Watchers time...something I was totally dreading! But I went anyway. Weight Watchers eventually just took the back seat to the rest of the day. Dave and I took the girls to see "Happy Feet"...which was cute...but 'oh my goodness' way too long. Dave said it was 2 hours long! I took the girls to the bathroom 2 times...and Dave took them to the bathroom 2 times. It was a good movie though....I'll be waiting next time just for the movie.
We headed to Walmart....to pick up a cake for Jamie. We celebrated her 4th birthday.....just with us....and my mom and sister and her boyfriend. Oh my goodness too much going on!!!!

Oh and we went to church that night to take care of a whole lotta kids! I'm not sure how many...but too many were poopy. Dave got to actually clean out some kids underwear! LOL!! I'm so happy he took care of that! I'm not sure I could have looked at the kid's mom. :)
We finally got to go home and put the kids to bed.......just to get up and do it all over again.
Sunday was actually a good day! We only had 1 service...which meant we got to sleep in somewhat. "Calling Levi" was our service....a nice musical group.
We celebrated Thanksgiving at our house...after church. Mom made lunch with my sister Amy...she wanted to have dinner at our house, since she was home from college. It was nice..but I was EXHAUSTED!!!! I ate lunch.....but crawled to bed. :) not really...but while my mom, my grandma, Amy, and Dave stayed up to play eukore and clean up, I slept!!! Just for a while...but long enough.
To end our wonderfully busy weekend, we put up the tree.....but had to stop with the lights. I got this crazy idea that we didn't have enough lights and just needed more (I have within the last two days bought 900 lights for various decorating needs.....and still need more!!!).
The tree went up with little road blocks.....just a few color matching issues. :)
Then Dave got a call from our friends from church who wanted to get together. Since I was just worn out from not being at home...we decided to have them over. We did a supernova fast cleaning job. :) And I threw together a nice spread of snacks, lite some candles, and we were ready to party. We only chatted and played a game, but it was a nice time. That was until someone had to go to the bathroom.........one of our beautiful children had stopped up the sink and left the water running. I had NEVER seen our bathroom or anyone else's bathroom so flooded. Thank goodness someone had to go to the bathroom.....the water didn't make it out of the room. But in front of our company I was getting out our old ratty towels to clean up the water, throwing soggy pad away.....they were under the sink. It was embarrassing, but I laughed at it the whole time and am laughing now at how insane it all was.
Now the wonderful child...we think was Jamie, but when cross examined by Dave and I, she blamed Ethan....all the way. LOL
We had a soggy ending to our evening and weekend. The bathroom rug is still drying. :)
So how was your weekend??? Please share. :)

Mine was less eventful but very exhausting. I wonder how you do it with 3 kids when I get so stressed with my 2. I will be blogging eventually about my week in Florida but there is not a lot to share...we ate, we watched FOX NEWS and we yelled at the kids and got to go outside and play just 2 days because the weather sucked. I know...no pity from the people left in Ohio. I decided the only difference is the FOX NEWS thing...we eat and yell at the kids everyday. The craziest thing...the weather here the last 2 days has been about the same as what it was in Florida the days we were there. Anyway...I am glad I missed the flood and I will bring over life jackets for my kids on our next visit.
